Na statku Holzmannka panuje pokoj. Adam s Hanou si užívajú jeden druhého. Albert s Terezou si vynahradzujú stratené roky. Mery so Šušom sa musia stretávať tajne. Pri pokuse o spoločnú chvíľku osamote sa však Šušo zraní. Danka s rastúcim bruškom má pred Biankou výčitky. Simona sa ešte stále nedokáže vyrovnať s Dankiným tehotenstvom. V pozadí veľkej ságy zbohatlíckej rodiny Závodských a potomkov starého rodu Karpatských Nemcov – Holzmannovcov sa ukrýva utajený zločin z konca druhej svetovej vojny. Jeho postupne odhaľovanie prichádza až po rokoch, a to vďaka láske dvoch mladých ľudí, Adama a Hany. Aj v druhej sérii odhaľujeme tajomstvá, ale z inej strany, ako boli predostreté doteraz.
